Pine
A softwood timber that varies from pale yellow to green with a durability of up to 10 years if treated annually. Alexander Rose recommend treating Pine Timber with a wood preserver such as Cuprinol or Ronseal.
Timber Weathering
Wood is a natural living product and like nature itself, wood varies in shape and colour, even timber from the same tree will vary in many aspects. Stains such as spillages, bird droppings and mildew can be removed using Alexander Rose Cleaner or some other household cleaning products. Alternatively – sand down the affected area using medium grit sand paper.
