The Alexander Rose Broadfield Bench has been designed and manufactured using the highest quality materials. Roble Hardwood has a distinctive pale colour timber with a naturally smooth luxurious finish and a strength similar to teak.

The Broadfield Bench has a dished seat base as well as a curved back to provide extra support for your lower back. These two features make the Broadfield a particularly comfortable bench to sit on.

Although this bench is supplied flat packed from Alexander Rose, we can deliver the bench fully built to local addresses. Please contact us if you would like to talk about this option.

Roble Care & Maintenance

If left untreated, Roble will mellow to a beautiful silver/grey appearance. Using Alexander Rose Timber Protector will keep it close to Roble’s original colour and add a soft gloss.

Another option to enhance the natural appearance of Roble is to use Alexander Rose Timber Treatment followed byTimber Sealer; this will give the wood a darker and richer appearance.

For general timber cleaning, use Alexander Rose Timber Cleaner following byTimber Protector.

Black Spotting may occur through tannic acid present in the timber or caused by natural air borne spores. Should this happen to your furniture (which is not unusual), it will not affect the strength, durability or quality of the wood, it’s not a manufacturing defect and is purely natural/cosmetic and can easily be removed by applying a mould remover such as Dettol or Cillit Bang (available at all supermarkets and hardware stores). Remove using a thin bristle brush until the spots have vanished. Do not use soapy water to clean black spotting.
