Sherwood Care
This chair has been made using Acacia timber with the textured brown finish created by the application of 3 coats of paint.
Sherwood finish timber can be cleaned by simply using warm soapy water and a sponge.
We recommend applying timber sealer straight after purchase if you wish to avoid fading and to help retain the colour of the wood. Alternatively, leave it to weather over a period of time.
After the 1st season, if you want to re-treat your furniture, we advise cleaning down using Alexander Rose Teak Cleaner with a hand brush (do not sand down as you will lose the textured appearance) then apply either timber treatment plus or timber sealer. Alternatively it can be repainted with any outdoor timber paint.
