Roble Care & Maintenance

If left untreated, Roble will mellow to a beautiful silver/grey appearance. Using Alexander Rose Timber Protector will keep it close to Roble’s original colour and add a soft gloss.

Another option to enhance the natural appearance of Roble is to use Alexander Rose Timber Treatment followed by Timber Sealer; this will give the wood a darker and richer appearance.

For general timber cleaning, use Alexander Rose Timber Cleaner following by Timber Protector.

Black Spotting may occur through tannic acid present in the timber or caused by natural airorne spores. Should this happen to your furniture (which is not unusual), it will not affect the strength, durability or quality of the wood, it’s not a manufacturing defect and is purely natural/cosmetic and can easily be removed by applying a mould remover such as Dettol or Cillit Bang (available at all supermarkets and hardware stores). Remove using a thin bristle brush until the spots have vanished. Do not use soapy water to clean black spotting.
