For Seeds: compost has been specially blended to suit delicate flower and vegetable seeds. Simply fill the tray with compost to just below the rim and tap gently until the surface is level. Sow the seeds thinly and cover lightly with compost. Water the tray carefully. Cover the tray with glass and newspaper to create a warm moist atmosphere. Remove the glass and newspaper when the seeds start to germinate.
For Seedlings: ensures healthy growth and colour of developing plants. Transplant seedlings to pots when they are large enough to handle water regularly.
For Potting: fill pots halfway and leave enough room for the plant and its existing compost. Place the plant in the centre. Fill in around the plant with compost and use finger tips to gently firm down. Regular watering is recommended and a liquid feed should be added with each watering after four weeks. This will enhance colour and vigour.
For Hanging Baskets: this compost is ideal for hanging baskets with its special blend of nutrients and added wetting agent. Fill hanging basket halfway with compost and leave enough room for the plants. Fill around the plants with compost and use finger tips to gently firm down. Regular watering is recommended and a liquid feed should be added with each watering after four weeks. This will enhance colour and vigour.
For Cuttings: fill a pot or seed tray to ½" below top rim with Clover John Innes Enriched Multi-Purpose and use a pencil or dibber to make holes for the cuttings. Position the prepared cuttings and firm in gently. To create a moist atmosphere, water and cover with glass or a plastic bag. Transplant into pots when roots appear.
