More about Vitax Q4 Multi Purpose Compost with John Innes

A premium grade compost for use all around the garden. The additon of extra loam helps retain and release nutrients over an extended period and the inclusion of Q4 high quality fertilisers ensures perfectly balanced nutrition for plants of all ages.

The open structure of this compost helps retain air and water, vital for seed germination and for rooting of cuttings while the nutrients supplied by the loam and the Q4 fertilser ensures healthy growth and vibrant flowering.

The compost is produced using high quality medium grade Irish Peat, mixed with rich, nutrient-bearing loam. It is formulated to retain moisture whilst allowing adequate drainage to prevent water-logging. The structure also means tha the compost is very easy to re-wet.

The neutral pH makes this compost the ideal choice for all plants except for acid-loving varieties such as Azaleas, Rhododendrons – please see our range of Ericaceous Composts & Fertilisers.
