Westland Sulphate of iron is a fertiliser that acidifies soil, which allows better growth of ericaceous plants such as Azaleas, Rhododendrons, heathers and magnolias.
It can be mixed with Sulphate of Ammonia at the start of the season to provide a boost to nitrogen levels as well as improving soil acidity.
It also strengthens plant cell, hardening them for the winter and provides a darker, green colour to foliage.
This fertiliser can also be made into a solution with water and used as a moss control agent on lawns and ornamental turf areas.
