Buddleja, also known as The Butterfly Bush, is a lavishly flowering, deciduous shrub. In August and September the plant produces plumes of delicioulsy fragrant flowers. As the name suggests, the plants likes a sunny spot in the garden with well drained soil. Prune the plant hard in March; it flowers most profusely on new wood.
