- Position: indoors/bright but not direct sunlight
- Direct sun will scorch the leaves
- Plant is most at home in a humid environment
- Use good quality indoor plant compost when repotting
- Compost must be kept moist but not soggy at all times
- Over watering will cause the rhizamatous roots to rot
- If possible use tepid rain water
- Feed once a month with a weak general purpose fertiliser
- Interesting but fairly insignificant flowers appear occasionally if plant is healthy
- Supplied in a 12cm pot
