Agave americana – 10 Litre Pot

£24.95

A tender, evergreen perennial forming rosettes of rigid, fleshy spiny edged leaves.

Often referred to as the Century Plant due to the fact that it doesn’t flower until many years old. It is usually grown as an architectural feature plant in the garden but grows freely in the wild within it’s natural habitat.

As a native of the southern USA and Mexico this plant prefers a dry situation and does best under glass in the UK. It will tolerate being grown outside in milder areas, but will not cope with persistent wet conditions.
