Oenothera biennis – biennial – pretty fragrant yellow flowers opening early evening, successively from June onwards. This fascinating plant loves hot, sunny areas and tolerates poor, dry soils extremely well. Develops foliage in the first year, then tall, graceful flower spikes in the second.
